Betty Jones has been planning events in the metro Anytown area for nearly two decades. Betty earned a received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Anystate University in 1988. She followed this by received a Meeting Planning Certificate from Anytown College in 1989 and continued her education by. After interning with several event planning and wedding consulting firms, Betty became passionate about planning weddings. "I saw the stress that brides went through and wanted so badly to help them", stated Betty in a 1992 magazine article about wedding day stress. "I knew I could. I love bringing lifelong dreams to life." Betty returned to the classroom and completed the Professional Planners Certification program through the ACME Coalition of Bridal Consultants. Betty is now an accredited Professional Bridal Consultant.

Betty soon opened Silver Bells Wedding planning. Although she was qualified to plan any event, she wanted to focus her energy primarily on weddings. She opened her own business, so she would be free of commissions and any other compromising arrangements. She was determined to only serve the interests of her clients.
